📚 How to Use the System

👨‍🏫 For the Teacher (Admin):

1. After purchasing, make a copy of the provided Google Sheet.
2. Open the Sheet ➔ Extensions > Apps Script > Deploy > New deployment > Web app. Set Execute as: Me and Who has access: Anyone.
3. Upon opening the web app, the script automatically creates 3 tabs: Settings, Students, and Upload Logs.
4. Go to the Students tab. Type the Section Name in Row 1 (Columns A to G). List the student names below each section (starting Row 3).
5. Go to the Settings tab. In cell B1, type the Current Activity Name (e.g., "Activity 1 - Essay"). Change this every time there's a new activity.
6. Share the Web App link to your students. Sit back and let the system organize the files for you!

👨‍🎓 For the Student (Uploader):

1. Open the link provided by the teacher.
2. Select your Section from the first dropdown.
3. Select your Name from the filtered second dropdown.
4. Click the upload box or drag your files into it. (PDF, Images, Docs only—Videos are blocked).
5. If you made a mistake, click the ❌ button on the file preview to remove it.
6. Click Upload Files and wait for the success message. Your file is now perfectly organized in your teacher's Drive!

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

How are the files organized in Google Drive?

The system automatically creates a folder for the Section (if it doesn't exist yet), then a sub-folder for the Activity Name (set by the teacher), and places the student's files inside. The file itself is named StudentName - ActivityName.

Can I use this for more than 7 sections?

The system is optimized for up to 7 sections natively (Columns A to G). This is to keep the student selection clean and fast. For most teachers, 7 sections is more than enough.

What happens if a student accidentally uploads a video?

The system strictly validates file types. If a student tries to upload a video file (like .mp4 or .mov), it will be automatically rejected and removed from the upload list, saving your Google Drive storage.

Do I need to code anything?

Absolutely not! The only thing you need to change is the PARENT_FOLDER_ID in the Apps Script (a 5-second step to paste your Google Drive folder ID). Everything else—sheets, folders, and logging—is automated.
